I agree with the comment made by William Horn that the reevaluation of the federal medical malpractice legislation is unnecessary. I do not believe it is fair to place a cap on punitive damages in a malpractice lawsuit. For a hospital like the Mayo Clinic, a $250,000 judgement is like a slap on the wrist. Doctors and hospitals alike need to be held accountable when mistakes are made while providing patient care. It is not surprising that this act is supported by the Physician Insurers Association of America, as it allows them to reduce their rates and insure more doctors......in the end, making more money.

One other important component is that if you are an older person, travel insurance intended for pensioners is something you need to really take into consideration. The older you are, the greater at risk you are for allowing something bad to happen while you while in another country. If you are not really covered by quite a few comprehensive insurance, you could have some serious complications. Thanks for revealing your advice on this web blog.

I suffer from lower back pain myself, so I fully understand the desperation involved in seeking relief. In situations like this, where people are vulnerable, there will always a certain element that will attempt to take advantage of the predicament for their own gain. It's pathetic, but that's reality. All I can say is before you commit to a major medical procedure, do your due diligence, fully investigate all your options, and on some level, trust your gut instincts to guide you in the right direction. Exercise common sense.
